Our Process Works for You

First is the consultation. We love to meet with you in our studio in Crownsville. We want to get to know you and understand your vision. We’ll talk about everything, from design to etiquette to pricing and how it will all work together for you. 

Be sure to bring us your ideas – any ideas – or we can start from scratch. Our time is your time. We'll give you an estimate that is within your budget. Remember, it's never too early to start this process. No time? We're happy to work via email as well - whatever works best for you. 

Second comes the design phase. This is the fun part. Once a deposit is made, we'll create two sets of original proofs based on our initial consultation. In fact, you’ll see the proofs within a day or two. Then, we give you three free rounds of changes to email back to us. Don't forget, most of our design is free! 

Next is the hard proofing stage. Once we’ve made all of your changes and you approve the electronic proof, we'll create a free hard copy of the proof so you can see and actually feel your dream invitation! 

Fourth stage is printing and production. Once you’ve approved the proof and held the hard copy, we’re ready to print. Paper in the Park offers many types of printing, from thermography and engraved (raised), to flat printing (standard) to in-house letterpress (indented).  We will begin printing based on your mail date. 

Fifth is addressing and mailing. We are a full service design shop so we can do as little or as much as you want. We can address the envelopes, assemble the invitations, and we even stamp and mail!
